Whether in Parliament, or in the borough, Antony is working night and day to make sure that opportunities are expanded across the whole of Burnley and Padiham.
"I was delighted that Burnley College, who already do so much to provide world-class skills for our young people, have been successful in their bid to become an Institute of Technology, further increasing their offering to residents. This is alongside the rollout of T-Levels which is now taking place, and the expansion of a brand new state of the art Sports and Spa complex which had its official opening on Saturday.
All this is a combination of speaking with Ministers to drive home the huge potential of our college which only 2 years ago led the national league table of colleges in the UK. And of course the efforts of the staff and students who make it such a great place to study. It's brilliant news!"
