A free family fun day to mark national Armed Forces Week was held at Towneley Park on Sunday the 19th of June.
Commenting on the event Antony Higginbotham MP said:
It was a brilliant event at Towneley Park this weekend, bringing together all of our armed forces, veterans and local organisations.
I had such a good time speaking with people. And want to say well done to everybody who made the event possible, including the Mayor Cosima Towneley who got the idea off the ground! A fantastic community event.
