Local MP Antony Higginbotham spoke about the need to bring infrastructure funding in to Burnley and Padiham in the House of Commons, specifically referencing a bid for the Town's Fund. This could see vital funding brought to our borough and is an issue that is being pushed both publicly and privately by Antony.

Commenting he said,

Last year I was elected on a clear promise to level up and a key pillar of that is securing funding from the Town's Fund. And I'll continue to raise this at every opportunity.
